This document describes how we collect, store, and use your data so you know what to expect.
Who We Are
Algo Schedule is a mobile app that helps pet grooming businesses manage their schedules, routes, and clients. It is operated by Hainey LLC.
If you’re here as a client, your grooming service provider invited you. Creating an account requires a registration code from a grooming business — you can’t sign up on your own without one.
Who Can Use This App
This app is for adults only (18+). It is a professional business tool — not a consumer social app, not a kids app, and not open to the general public. You must have received a registration code from a grooming business to create an account.
What Information We Collect and Why
Your account information When you register, we collect your name, email address, and the service address where your grooming appointments take place. We use this to create your account and book appointments.
Your pet information You can add your pets’ names, species, and breed. This helps your groomer prepare for each visit.
Appointment history Records of your past and upcoming appointments are stored so you and your groomer can track services over time.
Messages The app has in-app messaging between you and your grooming service. Message text and any photos you send are stored in our system.
Grooming photos Your groomer may take before and after photos at each appointment. These are stored in the app and visible to you and the grooming business.
Ratings and feedback After a completed appointment, you can leave a star rating and optional written comment. Your groomer sees this feedback.
Your location We do not track your location as a client. The only location data we collect is your service address, which you provide during registration. We derive coordinates from that address to help your groomer plan their route — your phone’s GPS is never accessed for this purpose.
App usage data (analytics) We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used — which features and screens are opened, how often, and whether key actions succeed — so we can improve reliability and the product. This analytics data is limited to app activity and coarse, non-identifying signals (your role, subscription tier, and randomly-generated account/business identifiers). It does NOT include your name, email, phone number, address, message text, or pet details. We use it only in aggregate for product health and improvement, never to identify you.
Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a device token to send you appointment reminders and updates. You can turn notifications off in your phone’s settings at any time.
In-App Help Assistant
The app includes an AI-powered Help Assistant that can answer questions about your appointments. If you use it, your typed question is sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude AI) to generate a response. We log the question and answer for quality purposes. Under Anthropic’s API agreement, data processed this way is never used to train their AI models and is deleted within 7 days on their end.
How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in two places:

On your device — in an AES-256 encrypted local database. The encryption key is stored in your phone’s secure storage (Android Keystore or iOS Keychain) and never leaves your device.

In the cloud — in Google Firebase (Firestore and Storage). Access is restricted so each user’s data is only visible to them and the grooming business they are connected to.
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Third-Party Services That Power the App
The app is built on several third-party services. Your data passes through them only as needed to provide the features you use:
- Google Firebase — handles the database, file storage, authentication, crash reporting, push notifications, and anonymous usage analytics
- Google Maps — geocodes your service address and helps optimize your groomer’s route
- Anthropic — powers the in-app Help Assistant when you use it
- Stripe — handles subscription billing for grooming businesses (Stripe does not receive client personal data)
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law.
Your Choices
- Update your profile — name, email, and address can be updated in the app at any time
- Delete your account — go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and associated data. It cannot be undone.
- Turn off notifications — in your phone’s system settings
Children’s Privacy
This app is not for children. It is a professional business tool for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us through our contact page and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the app develops. The date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent version.
